Advanced Cable Architecture

  • Fabricated by hand in our unique William Eikos Ultra Litz Field Cable
  • Classic twisted triple balanced conductors each of 800 individually insulated 30 micron strands
  • Helical winding configuration helps balance and stabilise impedance, inductance, and capacitance across a very wide bandwidth. This also lowers the proximity effect and eddy current-induced distortion
  • Each conductor is very tightly double-bound in natural silk, then placed in a cotton sheath. This controls signal-born vibration whilst keeping the dielectric constant below that of even FEP and PTFE
  • Proprietary RF ingress management takes the noise floor even on long runs to undreamt of levels. This remarkably improves transient response and rise times. More time for the sound to breathe and exist in its own space
  • Each solderless OFC pinned XLR plug now sports a vibration-damping felt sock, which further drops the noise floor
  • Significantly reduced sonic signature compared with conventional stranded cables.

Three-Layer Thick Wool Felt Jacket System

  • Ultra-low dielectric constant (1.2) - lower than PTFE - for superior velocity of propagation providing minimal signal interaction
  • Dual-function design: superior electrical insulation and advanced mechanical damping. Protecting signals from vibrations from the signal itself and from external environments. This all aids the capture of microdetail resolution critical in recording environments.
